SEE WHAT WE'VE ACCOMPLISHED TOGETHER SO FAR:
- 720 Number of campers at Camp Pepin during summer 2011.
- 8,249 Number of Program Participants Served during 2010.
- The Y partnered and collaborated with over 50 organizations and entities in 2010.
- A record setting 815 finishers at the 2011 River City Ramble.
- 32,885 Number of attendees in a Y fitness or swim classes in 2010.
- 50,000+ Number of participants in youth sports, Youth In Government, summer day camp,
swimming lessons, Gym & Swim, and other Y youth programs in 2010.
- $122,741.00 -- Total amount of scholarships given in 2010.
The goal on the Y's Annual Campaign is to provide critical scholarship assistance for over 20% of our members. It also provides program support and funds for building renewal.
Your gift will impact programs such as:
- Sunshine Corner Pre-School
- Y Pals Mentoring program for children & youth
- Might Mite & Youth Sports
- Camp Pepin
- Youth In Government
Our Y faces challenging times due to:
- Increased operating costs
- Dramatic reduction in support from previously major funders due to changes within those organizations (I.E. City of Red Wing)
- Increased need for scholarships--At the Y we believe that everyone is entitled to improve their body, mind and spirit. Last year, thousands of members received financial assistance that allowed them to access our programs and facilities. About 20% of all preschool students, Camp Pepin attendees & Y members receive some sort of financial assistance to participate.

One way you can give is to include the Red Wing Family YMCA in your estate plans.
