HEALTHY KIDS DAY 2014
Saturday, April 26th / 9am-5pm
Summer is the time for kids to get up, get out and grow! The Y will celebrate Healthy Kids Day, our national initiative, to improve health and well-being of kids. This FREE community event is open to all kids and families and will be filled with fun, active play and educational opportunities including: summer activity fair, family fitness classes, gym games, arts & crafts, KidsID program, and pool activities.

BUILDING A BETTER ATHLETE
June 9th-August 1st
This 7-week program is led by Kathy Sheehan, certified athletic trainer from Mayo Clinic Health System and Jenna Hughes, certified personal trainer from the Y. This comprehensive program meets twice a week and includes pre & post testing, injury prevention, core strength, flexibility, fundamental skill training, body awareness training, nutritional and mental preparation education. Perfect for athletes in 8th-12th grade and open to both members and non-members.
