RIVER CITY RAMBLE

Saturday, August 2nd

Join us on August 2, 2014 for the beautiful historic River City Ramble. We offer a 2 Mile Walking course and a 5K Run/Walk course that loops through Red Wing's historical district. The Kids Fun Run gets all involved in the joy of running! Registration is required for all 3 options. Stick around after the event to enjoy the River City Day's festivities! Proceeds support scholarships for kids in Red Wing YMCA Programs and YMCA Camp Pepin.

FAMILY DAY AT TARGET FIELD
Thursday, August 21st

Parents and children will enjoy a baseball game in the sun as they cheer on the Minnesota Twins who take on the Cleveland Indians on Thursday, August 21st at 12:10pm. We will meet at the YMCA at 10am and take a bus to the game. Price includes transportation and a ticket for right field. Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. The first 50 people to register will receive tickets.
COST: $25 for members / $30 for non-members

BUILDING A BETTER ATHLETE

June 9th-August 1st 

This 7-week program is led by Kathy Sheehan, certified athletic trainer from Mayo Clinic Health System and Jenna Hughes, certified personal trainer from the Y.  This comprehensive program meets twice a week and includes pre & post testing, injury prevention, core strength, flexibility, fundamental skill training, body awareness training, nutritional and mental preparation education. Perfect for athletes in 8th-12th grade and open to both members and non-members.
