During the school year, the Y follows the Red Wing School District for delays and cancellations:

• If the Red Wing School District cancels or announces a 2-hour delay, all early morning group fitness classes, (5:00-7:30 a.m.) will be cancelled.
  
  
• If the Red Wing School District announces a 2 hour delay, Sunshine Corner morning class and Gym & Swim will be cancelled for that day.  If they cancel school for the day, Sunshine Corner morning and afternoon classes will also be cancelled for that day.
  
  
• If Red Wing School District cancels school, the YMCA management staff will make a decision at 9:00 a.m. to either hold or cancel classes, programs or activities for that day.
  
  
• If the Red Wing School District cancels or announces a early release, the YMCA management staff will decide at 3:00 p.m. to either hold or cancel afternoon and evening classes and activities.
  
  
• For Saturday morning youth sports programs, the YMCA management staff will make a decision at 7:15 a.m. to either hold or cancel the programs.

Any postponements or cancellations will be posted on this page, sent to KCUE 1250 AM and posted on the YMCA Facebook Page.
