Enhance your Yoga practice with TRX
Yoga Instructor Jessica Richmond has been teaching Yoga at the Red Wing Family YMCA for quite some time and she says that utilizing the TRX into her yoga practice has added a new twist.
The TRX Suspension Trainer leverages gravity and your bodyweight to increase strength and flexibility. "In traditional yoga classes, we use traditional props like blocks, so having the TRX to support your poses is fantastic and adds an extra challenge to even the most basic of poses," says Jessica.
There is something for everyone, whether you are new to yoga or are just looking to expand your practice. The TRX trainer is perfect for newbies and to help those master more advanced poses. With regular and consistent practice on the TRX, you will notice significant improvement in your overall strength and confidence in your yoga practice.
TRX Classes at the Red Wing Family YMCA are held on Monday mornings at 8:30 AM in the Wellness Center. This class is available to members and community members.
