Adventure Sail

By land or by sea, this camp is jam packed with adventure! Along side traditional camp activities, campers will learn to sail a variety of small boats, with an opportunity to crew as a team on a larger sailboat. Students will learn how to set up boats, tie knots, points of sail and boating safety.

Fintastic Fishing

What kind of fish are in Lake Pepin? This camp will help your child answer that question as well as what kind of habitats different types of fish need. Our focus will be bobber fishing with bait that will include lakeside and pontoon boat fishing opportunities. We will also explore Pine Creek to learn about the local watershed and the trout habitat improvements there. All of this will be provided alongside the traditional camp experience.

New Heights

This camp is focused on making you the best leader you can be-at 50 feet in the air. Spend the week doing different high ropes obstacles such as the faith pole, zip line, giant swing, challenge course, and climbing wall. Every day will be a new adventure!

Roots to Fruits

New to YMCA Camp Pepin for 2019! Through hands on activities, farm fields and more, the Roots to Fruits camp aims to better connect youth to the food system we rely on and our natural world. They will have the opportunity to learn about the care and feeding of chickens and livestock. We will also provide some time to prepare a yummy snack from the garden. All of this will be provided alongside the traditional camp experience.
