Information about our pools
Our heated lap pool is 25 yards in length and is excellent for lap swimmers and group fitness class goers alike! The water in the lap pool is kept at 83 degrees all year round. We also hold events in our lap pool like the Floating Pumpkin Patch every October. Our lap pool is ADA Compliant with a chair lift.
The recreation pool is a warm water pool kept at 86 degrees all year round-making it perfect for all ages. Our recreation pool is equipped with a water slide, as well as water toys! We also offer life jackets on a first come, first serve basis if needed. The recreation pool is also accessible for people of all abilities with a zero-depth entry and a railing along the side.
Water Group Fitness Classes
Take a dip in our heated pools as you get fit with friends while enjoying a challenging, low-impact workout. From water-walking to Water Bootcamp, Restorative Water Fitness and even WaveFit-there really is a workout for everyBODY. A majority of our water fitness classes are free with the exception of WaveFit.
At this time we are unable to hold Open Swim. Please check back as things change quickly.
The Rec Pool is available for open swim various times throughout the week and weekend. The water slide is open during selected open swim hours. No need to be a member to use the pool just purchase a guest pass for the day.
No Suit No Problem!
we have a variety of swimsuits to lend out for anyone who does not have a swimsuit. Please ask the front desk for suits and let us know if we do not have your size. Swimsuits are returned to the front desk and are washed for you to use next time.
Why the Y for swim lessons?
We've been in the swim lesson business for more than 100 years, and we know how to do it right. We help students learn at their own pace, building confidence in and out of the water. Plus, our small class sizes (lower level classes 6:1 Instructor ratio / school-age level classes 8:1 Instructor ratio) and flexible schedules are a hit with parents! We even offer scholarships to those who qualify.
We offer year-round lessons at the YMCA for anyone, infants to seniors. To find the lessons that are right for you, click below!
Lifeguard & CPR Training
The YMCA offers American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR training for ages 15 and up. Certifications and training classes are offered in two formats:
- Traditional Classroom
- Lessons are completed online and practiced in a classroom setting.
