The LIVESTRONG at the Y program is specifically for adults who have had cancer. The small group-based program covers nutrition, physical activity and behavior modification. The 12-week program is complimentary for any one in the community.
Baby boomers to seniors can connect with the Y community through physical fitness, social activities and more. Programs for active older adults accommodate a wide variety of interests and functional abilities.
Do you enjoy a hobby or activity and would like to share it with others? Anyone can create a Member-Led Group at the Red Wing Family YMCA. All you need to do is recruit a minimum of five friends, select someone to be leader and work with Y staff to find a time when it can be held. The Y will promote it to all our members.
